Nas Interview On Cassette Tapes (TDK Chronicles)

Hhahahah I Def remember those days man Funk flex on hot 97 playing an exclusive I didn't hit record so i stayed on the radio all day waiting for someone to play that record, and constantly callin 1800 223-9797 lol for hot 97, fucking line always busy than next day finally Flex plays the same record again, but fucking talks all over the damn track as im recording lol.

I remember my self as a young ass DJ I couldn't afford a Sampler so I used to use TDK cassettes. I would play the beat press record, stop it, rewind the beat , press record again.................This would go on forever till i got at least a three or 4 minute loop of that beat lol, the poor DJs sampling method lmao

The second collection of rare and unheard songs in as many years will release on May 31.
Iconic Harlem, New York emcee Big L will see another posthumous release added to his growing catalog. Rare and unheard recordings - now digitally remastered from the lyricist within D.I.T.C. (a/k/a Diggin' In The Crates) will be packaged as Danger Zone, and released on May 31 on RBC Records and executive produced by L's brotherDonald Phinazee.
The collection of songs, distributed by RBC, are said to feature L's mentor, Lord Finesse, Gang Starr and his own D.I.T.C. brethren. Last year, a similar collection of songs was released as Return of the Devil's Son.
Before his untimely death in 1998, Big L released one album, 1995's Lifestylez ov da Poor & Dangerous. He also worked extensively on D.I.T.C.'s official 2000 debut, and a would-be posthumous release, 2000's The Big Picture.
